Short Stories

Creative writers and storytellers: Are invited to submit short stories and interesting tales to this site and I will publish them here as long as they are relevant and/or entertains.

Your stories can be fiction or they can be true stories. If visitors to this blog site will find them interesting in my opinion, I will publish.

There are a lot of unpublished but talented writers out there. If any one of them has work they need to showcase or a story they feel needs telling, send it to me. We cannot pay any royalty or fees for any written material sent to us, the only promise is if the material fits the other stories on here, they will go on to the site, this will in no way compromise your work or your rights, but will only enhance it and bring you to the attention of my readership and others including book publishers and people in the creative industries.

So if you are an author, poet, storyteller or just someone who has had a unique experience, write it down in your own words and send it to me. You never know, it could be a new beginning to a career as a creative writer. Eventually, as this blog page gets more and more popular, I intend to have writers on here who when they are not working on a project, can double as copywriters and guest bloggers for companies. It will be one more service to offer to numerous companies who are seeking advertising copywriters for their products.

Another area a talented writer can make extra funds is if they get work as ghost writers for people who want to write an autobiography but do not possess the skill or wherewithal to carry it out. The main thing is you as a writer can start here, tell your story, let me put it alongside mine. If I get attention, you get attention too. If not, you haven't lost a thing and your work is out there for the world to see and the people can judge for themselves.

If you are an established writer and you want to impart your skills to other aspiring writers, I would be interested in putting up "How to Write Short Stories" and similar subject matters.

Think about it, if you like my idea, send in your script. You won't be sorry!

This blog has come a long way from humble beginnings. We now have a lot more visitors to this site and the challenge for us, is to keep our content exciting and creative so we may entertain, educate and inform. Your correspondence should be sent to, together, we can change the world and make it a better place for the generations.

A Great Expectation, Realised!

Another British expectation was met yesterday as the town of Dunblane in Scotland celebrated Andy Murray's US open grand slam win.

One more sporting achievement to crown those of London 2012 where Murray took the tennis gold medal, for team GB. The Olympic gold medal was probably the spur Andy needed to help him get to the final of the US open.

The final went to five sets, but Andy did it, he won and today the smile returned one more time to British faces. The last time a British man achieved this level of success, was Fred Perry, 75 years ago. Well done, Andy!

The weight of expectation for Andy Murray to win Wimbledon next year, will not be easy to carry, but I know Andy is strong enough to pull it off.

Peace out!

Paralympics moves to Rio!

It has been a wonderful summer this year and the London Olympics made it so, it has been sports galore, medals galore and the world and Olympic records that were smashed, made it all the more spectacular and interesting to everybody watching from all over the globe.

Usain Bolt did not disappoint and all the participants of this years games were a credit to their respective nations. We witnessed every human emotion possible during London 2012 and everyone agrees that it has been a tremendous games.

Tonight marks the end of the Paralympics which is culminating in a spectacular closing ceremony. All the participants should be very proud of the high standards of performance that they attained, these achievements I am sure will be built upon at Rio de Janeiro in four years time.

Despite turmoil and war in some parts of our planet, the london games have been a welcome distraction to the troubles in the different parts of the world and will remain a beacon of tolerance and peace which is abundant within the human family.

I wish to thank all the brave participants of this years Paralympic games who have shown courage, discipline and determination in achieving their goals of qualifying and representing their various countries at sports.

It was at these games that I noticed that a lot of disabled sports men and women were fitter and more able than some able bodied people that I know. It is a testament to the determination and hard work of the individual sportsmen and women and I salute them all.

Well, until Rio de Janeiro in four years time, this is me saying,

Stay blessed,
